We have some pretty intense energies with the Astrology this week.

On August 14, Wednesday, there will be a Mars-Jupiter alignment that is taking place in the sign of Gemini. Jupiter is an amplification planet while Mars is the action planet and is about pushing forward. This could go both ways. it is a good week to really go for something that you truly want. On the other hand, this could also be a time when people will be talking their heads off without a lot of listening.

Also, Mercury is still in Retrograde. It started last week in the sign of Virgo and will reach a turning point as it re-enters Leo. It will be a good chance to reacquaint yourself with what is fabulous - what is great about you. If you have been feeling insecure or not fabulous, as we all do from time to time when life gets hard.
This is a good time to take a moment to think about who you really are and ask yourself

Remember who you really are. Mercury re-entering Leo invites us to reconnect with who we truly are. It provides a chance to reacquaint ourselves with our creative abilities.

On the 15th of August, we are seeing a Sun alignment with the wounded healer, Chiron. This is a good time to ask yourself:

• Where in your life do you need healing?
• What would need to happen for you to feel that a certain situation is healed?

This Quarter Moon in Scorpio may bring up challenges and the best response to this is to take a moment to recognize the things that you are grateful for.

It is a New Moon this week in the sign of Leo and things are looking good! We are having a harmonious aspect in Mars, Jupiter, and Gemini and that means *fingers crossed* some very good restarts.

It is also that time of the year again when it is said that the Lion's Gate Portal is activated. It is one of the most controversial events that has the Astrology community divided. In this episode of the Mainly Moonology Podcast, we are revisiting a beloved episode that explores what Lion's Gate is and what Astrologers think of this cosmic event.

And instead of choosing one side, I put out my journalist hat and invited two amazing Astrologers who have different takes on this event.

So what IS Lion's Gate?

It is said, the Lion's Gate portal opens once a year on 8/8. This is a time when the sun is in Leo, Orion's belt, the star Sirius, as well as the earth all line up. In numerology, 8 also carries a lot of significance, so two 8s when August 8 (8/8) happens, it gives the practitioner a potent opportunity to manifest their deepest dreams and desires.

For non-believers, 8/8 doesn't add up. It seems to be a miscommunication about an Aquarius lunar eclipse in 1998 and is not considered Astrology.

Whichever side you stand, If there is an important takeaway we can all agree on it is that it really is about the intention we put behind things and the sacred space we create around ourselves.

"Power is generated when many minds are focusing on the same thing collectively."

How do I ask the Divine for guidance when doing a reading?

• Start with your Guardian Angels, they are dedicated to you 24/7.
• Get to know them and build a relationship with them
• Create a daily exercise where you connect with your Angels

Romance is in the air this week with the Full Moon in Capricorn and the Venus-Jupiter Alignment that's coming up, it is a good time to write down and visualize what you are looking for and the kind of relationship you want to attract in your life. There is, however, a bit of caveat to that as there will be a Mercury-Uranus clash that might bring unexpected news.

Overall, this week's Astrology is quite positive.

We are getting a harmonious aspect between the Sun and Neptune which is great for meditation and chanting.

If you are having a hard time sitting still and starting to get in the zone, I suggest putting on Solfeggio Frequencies to get you started. I previously interviewed healer, Kim Hanlon, who explained how these frequencies can help us and which ones can help a specific need.

It is also the time to start thinking about the rest of your life: What is it that you really want for your life? What part of your life is toxic? Where are the power struggles in your life?

This is the second consecutive Full Moon in Capricorn. We briefly touched on it in last week's episode as the Full Moon happens this Sunday. When you get a Full Moon in your chart, a tug-of-war is created there. Understanding where in your chart it is taking place can help you understand what you need to release or submit to the divine. Two Full Moons in a row like this one gives us a second chance for release and letting go.

And by releasing things that no longer serve us, we can raise our vibrations and that makes us stronger manifestors.
