Commissioner of the Dept. of Agriculture, Bryan Hurlburt shared what the current state of dry conditions means for farmers. ((00:10)) 2. There’s a bill very close to passing which could mean big changes for unaffordable medications. Max Richtman, president of National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare gave us the details. ((12:12))
    3. Weight bias is negative attitudes, beliefs, judgments, stereotypes, and discriminatory acts aimed at individuals simply because of their weight. We heard from the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities about what Connecticut could do to better protect people who are discriminated against for their weight. ((23:08))
