The delicate astilbe with its small white flowers is different from all the other varieties of plants in the Ormond Gardens. I find that people come in all kinds of varieties, and that is what makes my Soul’s journey so unique. I am grateful for that.

Now that the first of the orange lilies are blooming, I look forward to driving along the back country roads where many of the old homes are gone but the orange lilies still there take my mind back in time. I believe as we navigate the path of our soul’s purpose there is a Source with us to help blend the past with the present.

I have been collecting plants for years, and, like the evening primrose now in bloom, I am not sure where they came from. My collection usually has a purpose, and that is to share with others. People collect thoughts that they don’t know where they came from. At least we can weed out the negative ones and replace them with love and gratitude.

Recently our outside thermometer recorded a temperature of 101 degrees, and I think that may be a new high for us. The weather has been a progression of extremes the last couple of years, as have people’s thoughts. At least we can be aware of our thoughts, and through love and positivity lower the temperature in our minds.

The stella d’oro daylilies have begun to bloom, and, unlike other daylilies, they will continue to flower all summer. There are people that only do a single act of kindness and then are done, while others continue to create positive acts of kindness all year long.

The foxglove are now in bloom in the Ormond Gardens. They have the ability to move around each year searching for the best soil to grow in. People have the same ability to plant their thoughts in the best positive environment for them to grow and make a difference in the world.

A patch of clover in full blossom caught my attention for a few moments and I watched the butterflies and bees going from flower-to-flower harvesting food. My mind felt peaceful as I set my intentions to think of gratitude and love.
