The homemade jelly was good to the last bite. Sometimes people never finish the last bite, saving it for another occasion, and in the meantime it spoils. The pointed icicle lodged into a snowbank reminded me that Nature wants me to make a point about making points. I think that mindfulness is important. The way a point is made can make a big difference in the way it is accepted. I often use stories to make a point without directly confronting others.

I really enjoy my coffee, but I realized I was probably drinking too much, and some friends suggested drinking white pine needle tea for positive health results. So, I went out back, away from any pollution, and gathered some pine. I think it is a good change, and making positive changes in our lives is always a good thing.

Today, Valentine’s Day, there are many hearts in the world that are glowing, including mine, as it reflects on the magical alpine glow of Mt. Chocorua, the mountain that brought us to this area years ago. I am grateful for the views of life we have from these hills and know that wherever you are there is a glow waiting to fill your heart.
