Today, Valentine’s Day, there are many hearts in the world that are glowing, including mine, as it reflects on the magical alpine glow of Mt. Chocorua, the mountain that brought us to this area years ago. I am grateful for the views of life we have from these hills and know that wherever you are there is a glow waiting to fill your heart.

I have a habit that started years ago as an “intention”, pausing for a moment and experiencing the beauty in Nature. I would take a breath, breathing up from the ground and down from the sky, meeting in my heart with gratitude. Now I do this automatically, many times a day for many reasons.

We are entering a warming spell as the days creep slowly toward spring. Each day when I first open my eyes, I thank Source for a beautiful morning regardless of what the weather is doing. SURROUNDED BY LOVE. I set my intentions to be a channel for the Cosmos’s unconditional love, and when I see signs such as a heart in the snow, in my mind I know that I am surrounded by the love I that intend to channel. We get a lot of pleasure during the winter watching the birds that come to the feeders for sunflower seeds and suet. In the meantime, the birds are getting important nourishment to help them get through the season. It is a tradeoff. When we do something positive that helps someone else, we often feel warmth in our hearts.
