    In late 1922, confident, independent Frankie takes a job forging documents for Mr. DiCarlo, the smooth-talking manager of the local speakeasy. When she demands to be paid what she knows she deserves, secrets are revealed that threaten to destroy the personas both have worked so hard to build.
