She is the founder of KJ & Co. & The Wed Well Showcase, a wedding show curated for modern & stylish GTA couples. Krista is an Award-Winning Event Planner and Wedding Industry Mentor dedicated to helping design your dream wedding business around your lifestyle, so you can make more money and time for your family.

Since 2012, KJ & Co. has planned over 60 weddings and been featured in Style Me Pretty, Today’s Bride, WedLuxe, and more. They’ve also been the recipient of the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award and the Hamilton Spectator Readers’ Choice Award. Unable to find a highly curated wedding show in the western GTA that wasn’t heavy on the sales pitches and pipe-and-drape stalls, she decided to create one by launching The Wed Well Showcase in 2019.

Krista and I discuss how she first got into the wedding industry and how her business has transitioned over time, including offering coaching & consulting services, parallels she’s seen in her own business after growing up with entrepreneur parents, and the challenges that come with running a business. She also shares how she balances her business with family while raising two toddlers, and her transition from business to motherhood when her children were born.
