  • Interview with Danielle - Part 1 Meal Planning
    Jul 31 2024

Andie and Angie interview Angie’s sister Danielle, who is also the owner and property manager of Legacy Farms. In this episode, Danielle talks about meal planning, which is apparently important since kids want to eat dinner every night. The bad advice moms fall into is that they need to accommodate everyone's tastes. This can lead to making multiple meals for every dinner. It can be impossible for moms to accommodate everyone’s likes and dislikes. Danielle discusses how to meal plan for multiple kids of all different ages. Danielle’s meal planning journey began when she started watching the food network (thank you Rachael Ray) and also looking through Taste of Home magazine. Danielle's meal plans for four weekdays and one weekend meal. One pot meal lessens the dishes you have to do. Few ingredients, and few dishes. Sometimes trying new recipes with different textures and colors can be a win with the kids. Even just adding spices can change a meal entirely. Have realistic expectations when it comes to cooking. The more you practice cooking the better you’ll get. Sitting down as a family, and eating together without cell phones is a priority and good for your mental health. You can find Legacy Farms and Getaways on Facebook and VRBO
