Along the way, they'll award the film superlatives for Most Entertaining Scene, Favorite Quote, Best Use of Music and many more.

2021 was a crazy year, second only to the insanity that was 2020. A few movies got released in 2021, but few have resonated with people as strongly as the Nic Cage starring Pig, directed by Michael Sarnoski. A critical darling from the jump and the performance that Nic Cage claims is his "favorite", Pig is somehow still criminally underseen. The boys dive deep on restaurant films/television, whether Sarnoski making a franchise film after Pig was the right move, and whether Ted Beneke is all that good of an actor. All that and more, so download now!

Richard Linklater is one of cinema's most eclectic directors, and this week the boys take a hard look at his 2006 film A Scanner Darkly. The director's second experiment with rotoscope technology, it features RDJ right before he goes to play Tony Stark, Keanu before the John Wick phase, and Winona Ryder being...well...Winona Ryder. Is the rotoscoping still cool? Could Woody Harrelson have been given a better wig? All that and more, so download now!

There are a handful of horror/thrillers that encompass a meta-narrative, but few have gone as deep into that subject as 2007's Funny Games, director Michael Haneke's remake of the same film from 1997. The film really never rose to prominence or critical acclaim on release but to people who appreciate the flick it offers a totally unique take on a slasher film. Is this a pretentious piece of art-house garbage? Why has Michael Pitt's career not taken off? And is Tim Roth a "bitch"? All this and more, so download now!

Guy Ritchie is a journeyman filmmaker, and to coincide with the release of The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024) Chad and Jack are revisiting Ritchie's The Gentlemen (2019). Released just before everyone's favorite recent global pandemic, the movie was a moderate success, spawning a spinoff series that can now be seen on Netflix. Was this part of the McCounah-aissance? Does Ritchie still have "it" when it counts? Is Colin Farrell our greatest living actor? All this and more, so download now!
