  • On the 16th of March, 2014, Former Queensland Police Officer Vonny T attends the scene of a violent rape and murder of a 24-year-old woman on the banks of the MacIntyre River in Goondiwindi, The woman, Alexis Jeffrey, a mother of several young children, had been out at the pub the night before and she failed to return home. Vonny T shares intimate details about her experience as the responding officer to the crime scene and how these events triggered a downward spiral with PTSD as she struggled to come to terms with the brutality and senselessness of the murder.
