  • Content Warning! - Understanding Intimacy with Susan Bratton
    Feb 7 2022

Content Warning- this content does contain coversation obviously that might not be suitable for people of ages, please be aware.

It is Valentine's Week and I thought, who to help us understand intimacy, then the intimacy expert to millions.Susan Bratton brings the wisdom of love to our ears. This was a fun conversation, and at times for me, a little bashful. Intimacy is something we do not speak of often when we think about our health. Our intimacy with our partners is part of our physical and mental desires. Below are the links to her books, materials, and websites.

Have you ever had a chance to speak with someone new and just immediately know these are good people? I had the pleasure of hanging out with Venae and Adam from Minerva Creamery, the oldest family owned creamery in the United States. I learned the ins and outs of their business. They are passionate about what they do and who they serve. This family is passionate about butter! It got me thinking about what we are passionate for.

  • HeadTrash! - What is your one big lie?!? with Renie Cavallari
    Jan 17 2022

What a wonderful conversation today with Renie Cavallari.

Renie is the founder, CEO, and chief investigator of Aspire, a global transformational training and culture development. She is also founder of the RCI Institute, an active thinking and people technology lab. She is an award winning speaker, strategist, and author of the book HeadTrash.

We often think our struggle is fighting others for what we are wanting to achieve. I think more often is our negative thoughts that prevent us from achieving our greatest ambitions. These negative thoughts or HeadTrash fights with our inner self and binds to continue to stay in the boring day to day and never achieve new things. We think about what our peers will think, what social media will comment, or what it might impact me at work.

Renie helps us discover The Big Lie will tell ourselves, and how we can fight through your lie and become a better leader, spouse, employee, athlete, podcaster, YouTuber, or parent. Let's learn about ourselves and move forward.

You need to check our book HeadTrash. I have been diving into her book for over a week and it has made me a better chef, podcaster, parent, and spouse by understanding My Big Lie and how to counteract that lie I tell myself to keep me from achieving.

  • 03-Discussing our Energy- Your Challenge for the week!
    Jan 3 2022

If you missed the last podcast you missed a great conversation with Gail Behrend, an energy healer who she herself went through this deep depression. We discussed her journey to self love and fixing her energy. Though we might disagree where that energy of "love" comes from (I may tend to feel it comes from a higher being), we both agreed that our energy is a moving force that goes through our body and into affects not only our health mentally and physically, both those around us as well.

I want to challenge you to learn more about yourself and your energy. Listen to the podcast and I assure if you follow the challenge you will not be disappointed.
