  • Publicly-funded preschools and childcare centers are seeing a decline in enrollment in California. That's according to a new study out of UC Berkeley that shows the drop coincides with a rise in the number of students enrolling in the State's new grade for 4-year-olds called 'transitional kindergarten'.
