Welcome back to Not A Bomb! This is the podcast where we dive into some of cinema's biggest box office failures and explore whether they deserve a second chance.

Join us for "Sword and Sandals" month, where historical drama takes center stage in this week's episode! We delve into Oliver Stone's 2004 epic, Alexander, a film notorious for its box office struggles and multiple “Razzie” nominations. Despite its initial reception, Stone has revisited and revised the film multiple times, with the final version boasting nearly 50 additional minutes of content. But do these changes elevate the movie? Does Angelina Jolie’s performance fit in a fantasy epic like Kull the Conqueror? And can Oliver Stone still be considered a top-tier director after this historical misstep? Tune in to explore these questions and more!

Alexander is directed by Oliver Stone and stars Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie, Val Kilmer, Jared Leto, Rosario Dawson, and Anthony Hopkins.

Welcome back to Not A Bomb! This is the podcast where we dive into some of cinema's biggest box office failures and explore whether they deserve a second chance.

Sword and Sandals month “swings” back into Robert E Howard-town with 1997’s Kull the Conqueror. Originally intended to be the third Conan film, Kull trades Arnold Schwarzenegger for Kevin Sorbo. Yeah, downgrade there. Also, somehow this film cost $35 Million and has some of the most fart rockiest, fart rock to ever fart rock. All that being said, is Kull the Conqueror worth a rewatch? Should Kevin Sorbo change his name to Kevin Snorebo? Would Fabio make a better Kull? Can the lovely and talented Tia Carrere save this thing? Listen and find out!

Kull the Conqueror is director by John Nicolella and stars Kevin Sorbi, Tia Carrere, Thomas Ian Griffith, Litefoot, Harvey Fierstein, and Karina Lombard

Welcome back to Not A Bomb! Yes, we're still donning sandals, wielding swords, and delving into films that flopped at the box office. In this week's episode, we're diving into the work of one of our favorite directors once more: Guy Ritchie. This time, we’re exploring his interpretation of the Arthurian legend with the 2017 film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. And since we're revisiting Guy Ritchie's oeuvre, it’s only fitting to welcome Nate back to the show—he previously joined us for our last Guy Ritchie discussion. We completely forgot about this little detail and ended up sounding like complete idiots when it came up. Honestly, feeling lost is pretty much par for the course on this show. So sit back and enjoy the chaos!

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is directed by Guy Ritchie and stars Charlie Hunnam, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Jude Law, and Eric Bana
