  • E 159: The Debate Debacle: The Empty Suit and The Great Con
    Jul 8 2024

That's right. Today, Mark and Dave attempt to critique what some 50 million people witnessed on CNN last Thursday night.

The side by side, split screen, 90 minute nightmare that was seen around the world.

Needless to say, casual Democrats that blindly parrot what they hear from their talking head commentators, were shocked by what they saw. Mighty Joe did not show. Trump debated an “empty suit.”

So to our left leaning friends, the Greatest Conspiracy is about to unravel and be on full display.

Now would be a good time to take a breath, listen to a few conservative perspectives, compare those to what unfolds on your left channel and recalibrate.

You’ve been lied to for nearing 8 years.

Let us know what you think.

  • E 158: Interview with Dave, Author of Legacies of Valor: Traits of Character - The Noble & The Notable
    Jul 5 2024

Today, I'm excited to interview my co-host Dave, who authored an awesome book entitled, Legacies of Valor: Traits of Character - The Noble & The Notable.

This is a big day for Dave. Legacies of Valor is now in its second print, with five new chapters added. Don't believe me? Check out what an unbiased book reviewer wrote:

    Book Review

"Legacies of Valor" by David Hammond is an insightful exploration into the lives of biblical characters, meticulously examining their noble traits and character flaws to help readers deepen their understanding of themselves in Christ. Hammond's work stands out for its blend of theological depth and practical guidance, making it a valuable resource for anyone seeking to grow spiritually and personally.

The book is structured to guide readers through various facets of Christian living and self-awareness. Hammond's approach is both comprehensive and accessible, providing clear, actionable insights into how individuals can enhance their spiritual journey. The topics covered include acquiring wisdom, understanding God's character, turning adversity into strengths, and ensuring God's guidance, among others. Each section is thoughtfully crafted to offer practical applications that readers can integrate into their daily lives.

Hammond's analysis of biblical figures such as Noah, Joshua, Gideon, Nathan, David, Hezekiah, Nehemiah, and Jesus is particularly compelling. He delves into their stories with a keen eye for detail, drawing out lessons that are relevant for contemporary readers. For instance, the portrayal of Joshua as "Wholeheartedly Committed" and David as "A Mighty Man of Valor" provides powerful examples of faith and perseverance. Hammond does not shy away from discussing their flaws, presenting a balanced view that underscores the complexity of human nature and the transformative power of God's grace.

One of the strengths of "Legacies of Valor" is its focus on practical spirituality. The sections on "Acquiring Wisdom & Gaining Understanding" and "Turning Adversity into Strengths" are particularly noteworthy. Hammond's insights into how adversity can be a catalyst for growth are both encouraging and inspiring. His emphasis on the importance of wisdom and understanding is a recurring theme that resonates throughout the book.

The book also offers valuable insights into the nature of God's favor and guidance. Hammond's discussion on "Favor In God's Sight" and "Assure God's Guidance" provides readers with a clear understanding of how to seek and recognize God's direction in their lives. Additionally, the chapters on "The Watchmen Initiative" and "Gifts, Callings and Works" offer practical advice on how to live out one's faith in a meaningful and impactful way.

Hammond's writing is clear and engaging, making complex theological concepts accessible to a wide audience. The inclusion of "Power Scriptures & how to use them" is a useful tool for readers seeking to incorporate scripture into their daily practices. The book's structure, with its blend of narrative, analysis, and practical advice, ensures that readers can easily navigate and absorb the wealth of information presented.

In conclusion, "Legacies of Valor" is a compelling and enriching read for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of biblical characters and apply their lessons to their own lives. David Hammond's thoughtful and practical approach makes this book a valuable addition to any Christian's library, offering timeless wisdom and guidance for the journey of faith.

  • E 157: Independence Day: The untold, less known, POST Independence Day stories of our Founders
    Jul 1 2024

It's Hotdogs, boating, and a day off from work. Flags, Patriotic tee-shirts and fireworks. So what's the big deal?

    Well for starters, a lot.

Fifty-six men stepped up and united around a cause that would afford you and I, and all those that came before us, a document of conviction and freedom for all that would establish the foundation for this great nation of ours.

    It would cost them dearly.

Join us as we take a look at who the Signers of our Declaration were, the costs they and their families paid, for us to live and continually pursue the Freedom they envisioned and sacrificed everything for.

    Show Notes:

Fifty-six men from each of the original 13 colonies signed the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Nine of the signers were immigrants, two were brothers and two were cousins. One was an orphan. The average age of a signer was 45. Benjamin Franklin was the oldest delegate at 70. The youngest was Thomas Lynch Jr. of South Carolina at 27.

Eighteen of the signers were merchants or businessmen, 14 were farmers, and four were doctors. Twenty-two were lawyers and nine were judges. Stephen Hopkins had been governor of Rhode Island. Forty-two signers had served in their colonial legislatures.

Almost all were Protestants. Charles Carroll of Maryland was the lone Roman Catholic.

Seventeen signers fought in the American Revolution. The British captured five signers during the war.

Thomas McKean of Delaware wrote John Adams that he was "hunted like a fox by the enemy — compelled to remove my family five times in a few months …". Abraham Clark of New Jersey had two of his sons captured by the British during the war.

Eleven signers had their homes and property destroyed. Francis Lewis's New York home was razed and his wife taken prisoner. John Hart's farm and mills were destroyed when the British invaded New Jersey, and he died while fleeing capture.

    Jun 24 2024

Did you know that Gabriel, the messenger sent by God to answer Daniels prayer, left the battlefield, once Michael showed up to relieve him from holding back the Kings of Persia, so that Gabriel could deliver 2000 years of vision to Daniel?

Join us as we scratch our heads and explore what is going on here. Are the answers to our prayers really delivered by Angels? Is it possible that these answers are delayed because the Messenger Angel is a bit busy fighting the forces of darkness?

  • E 154: Old Testament Prophecy Ezekiel 39 hits the headlines on May 19, 2024! What is up with that?
    Jun 21 2024

On May 19, 2024, the 2nd in command of Iran (the prince of Rosh) was flying in a formation of 3 helicopters over the mountains of NW Iran, which, at the time of Ezekiel, was part of Israel.

In a fog, the chopper holding Ebrahim Raisi crashed into the mountains, all perished including his commander-in-chief of the Revolutionary Guard his Major General, his spiritual leader and 3 others. Only Raisi's chopper went down. Raisi "fell against the mountains" after Iran, for the first time, directly attacked Israel with more than 300 missiles and rockets (arrows), but Israel's Iron Dome "dashed them to the ground."

Now go read Ezek 39:1-4a. If this isn't a prophesy fulfilled, it's certainly a shadow of one that will be.

Additional Show References from a study by Theologian David Petersen.

Reference Chapters and Characters of note:
Ezekiel 38-39 - War of Gog and Magog: Are Gogs hoards from northern Russia?
    Is Gog Russia?
Is Magog the country / territory of Iran? Iran is also known as Persia and Elam.
Jeremiah 49:34-39 prophesied that Elam would be conquered by Babylon but rise again.

But then Persia, under Cyrus the Great, took control of that area, and the Elamites and Medes became part of the Persian Empire. The Medo-Persian Empire ascended to power and conquered Babylon in 539 BC, fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah 21:2. This happened during the time of Daniel (Daniel 5); in fact, Daniel later resided “in the province of Elam” in Persia (Daniel 8:2). Persia is the setting for the book of Esther and the first part of Nehemiah.

Ezekiel 38:5 specifically mentions Persia as an ally of Magog/Russia. Other nations included in this coalition will be Sudan, Turkey, Libya, and others. This vast army will come against Israel, who at that time will be “a peaceful and unsuspecting people” (verse 11).

Ponder those last five words for a second. It’s a description of a point in time….specifically the last three words..”an unsuspecting people.” Which begs the question, considering we are referring to Israel…how much time must pass before Israel will be an “unsuspecting people?”

We'll discuss this question and many others today. Thanks for joining us.

  • E 153: Did you know our Two-Tiered Justice System dates back to the Old Testament? It's called the Deuteronomy Two-Tiered Justice System.
    Jun 17 2024

In today's show Mark and Dave will reference some excerpts from several articles we read in researching where did our original Justice system come from. Did you know that it was born out of a system called the Deuteronomy Two-Tiered Justice System?

You read that right. Back in the day, a two-tiered system was a good thing. It was fair, local and just. So when did it all go amuk?

We'll also uncover a scripture or two in the book of Kings where our friends on the left discovered the art of law fare.

Check out the story of King Ahab and his neighbor Naboth in 1 Kings 21:11. It's an Old Testament sham trial...like you were reading it fresh out of the New York Times.

  • E 152: Trump, Retribution, Forgiveness, Consequences and Justice. How does it all come together?
    Jun 14 2024

In an interview with Hannity, Trump said he would not seek retribution against Biden. He said this Lawfare and Weaponization of the Justice system MUST STOP.

The left are convinced he will rain Hell Fire retribution and judgement on not only the Biden crime family, but on all deep state actors from Comey to Andy McCabe, Mayorkus, Blinken, Garland, Fanni, Alvin Bragg and his chipmunks….all the corrupt judges, District Attorneys, Director Wray, Austin the AWAL General, School Unions…the Main Street media...the list is long.

Which begs the question. Would Trump forgive Biden ?

He did not pursue Hillary...so he has a record of forgiveness. How do consequences factor in? Can Trump forgive and still the wheels of Justice turn?

How does it all work? Forgiveness vs Consequences?

Join us for a challenging discussion.
