The title of this episode is "Carmilla," first airing July 28th, 1940, on the Columbia Broadcast System. This story's original Victorian-era novella was written by Sheridan Le Fanu and was adapted for radio by Lucille Fletcher. It's a tale of a father and daughter that take in and befriend a lost and injured young woman. This mysterious woman stays with the family, the more evident it is that she's not exactly what she seems.
