  • Special Episode 17 - Highland football breakdown
    Jun 3 2024

In this special episode, Jamie Durent and Lee McLennan assess the differing fortunes of the two teams either side of the Kessock Bridge, Ross County and Caley Thistle.

The Staggies survived in comfortable fashion, beating Raith Rovers in a two-legged Premiership play-off, and gave the manager's job to club favourite Don Cowie. We discuss how key Simon Murray and Yan Dhanda have been to their fortunes, the logic behind giving Cowie the job permanently and what areas they need to address in the sumer.

In the Highland capital, things have been much less rosy for Caley Thistle. Relegated to the third tier for the first time in 25 years, the club created headlines for all the wrong reasons in the aftermath by announcing they were shifting their training base 136 miles away to Kelty in Fife.

Jamie and Lee break down this ever-evolving situation, the fan uproar it has understandably created and what the future of the club could look like. As always, subscribe wherever you get your podcasts from and follow us on X for latest updates.
