  • A recent discussion at the office led to a show about that very conversation.  The guys were involved with a client's request for support on managing and properly compensating a short term workforce increase which included possible stand-by hours.

    Upon doing a bit more research in support of the client, what we found was both expected and frankly a little surprising.  There are some things one needs to know about what California Labor Law has to say when it comes to placing an employee on stand-by.

    Before you do, listen to this weeks show on the topic and steer clear of potential wage and hour claims that arise when certain procedures and guidelines are not followed.
