This week has some really good stuff! Obviously, there are a few sections of the Doctrine and Covenants, but we're also getting into the organization of the Church, talking about prophets, and learning more about the keys and authority of the priesthood.

Our average study time per day is less than 19 minutes. But remember - start where you are and just do your best. That will vary from day to day and the Lord knows where you are and what you can do. He only expects that we try.

Here we are - at our first full week of March! There isn't a ton of stuff to look at this week (like there has been in the past) so we only have one quick checklist (which you can download at https://paisleyimperfect.com/make-a-plan-monday-march-3-9/).

Our Savior suffered in Gethsemane for you and for me. And I believe that he would have done it if it had only been for you. Or for me. He loves you that much.

Also, I hope that you're enjoying this year's trip through the Doctrine & Covenants. I said at the beginning of the year that this was going to be a tough one for me - and it has been, but I've also started to feel a bit more connected with the history of the Church. I'm learning more than I ever have before (mostly because I'm actually putting in the effort this time). I hope you're finding something for yourself in it too.

Can you believe we're already wrapping up February?! I feel like I was just saying that about December. Time is flying by!

There's only one section from the Doctrine & Covenants for us to review this week, but a few General Conference talks for us to take a look at too. It's super light compared to last week, for sure.

Plan A averages about 15-16 minutes each day, and Plan B is closer to an hour. If you can't do the full hour, don't worry! Do what you can. We're just trying to be a little bit better every day - not trying to make a complete change overnight.

We're getting into sections 10 and 11 of the Doctrine & Covenants this week. A lot of the history of these sections overlaps stuff we've already looked at. Don't worry though – that means that we can review it for stuff we missed the first time around.

I misspoke right at the beginning of the video (arg) and said that we're wrapping up February. Obviously, we're just starting February and are really wrapping up January. Oops!

I've put together two plans again this week. Plan A is short and will get you through the sections, a couple of General Conference talks, an a video.

Plan B is longer and includes a youth devotional from back in 2018 that's just over an hour by itself (don't worry, we're still only averaging about 27 minutes every day). If you have teenagers, you work with the youth, or you have kids that are turning into youth soon, you'll want to check that out.
