  • Daily Devotions: Rewards for Right Living - February 2, 2026
    Feb 2 2026
FEB 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG8yYyGFBlY Psalm 18:19–24 (ESV) “He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me. The Lord dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he rewarded me. For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God. For all his rules were before me, and his statutes I did not put away from me. I was blameless before him, and I kept myself from my guilt. So the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall reminds us that while salvation is by grace, God still honors a life that chooses to do what is right. In the Old Testament, King David speaks with confidence, not pride, recognizing that God saw his innocence in the middle of attack and brought restoration because of it. This devotion encourages believers to keep choosing what is right even when the world mocks integrity or pressures compromise. God sees, God knows, and God rewards those who walk uprightly. ---- Discover fundamental truths and the power of Scripture with Pastor David E. Sumrall on Daily Devotions. • Daily Devotions: Israel belongs to God - February 1, 2026
    Feb 1 2026
Exodus 15:13–17 (ESV) - “With your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed; in your strength you will guide them to your holy dwelling. The nations will hear and tremble; anguish will grip the people of Philistia. The chiefs of Edom will be terrified, the leaders of Moab will be seized with trembling, all the inhabitants of Canaan will melt away. Terror and dread will fall on them; by the power of your arm they will be as still as a stone until your people pass by, O Lord, until the people you purchased pass by. You will bring them in and plant them on your own mountain, the place, O Lord, that you have made for your dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, your hands have established.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall explores God’s heart for the land of Israel. Long before the nation of Israel existed, God set His eyes on this land as His sacred dwelling, a place He loves and protects. Even through centuries of wars, destruction, and exile, the land itself remains His, a symbol of His presence and promise. Pastor Sumrall encourages believers to see God’s faithfulness and purpose across history, reminding us that God’s plan unfolds in His timing and that His love endures through all generations. Let’s understand God’s design, His care for what He chooses, and the importance of recognizing His hand in Israel and the world around us. ---- Discover fundamental truths and the power of Scripture with Pastor David E. • Daily Devotions: Leadership When People are Afraid - January 31, 2026
    Jan 31 2026
Exodus 14:10–14 (ESV) - “When Pharaoh drew near, the people of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they feared greatly. And the people of Israel cried out to the Lord. They said to Moses, ‘Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt? Is not this what we said to you in Egypt: “Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians”? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.’ And Moses said to the people, ‘Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.’” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall takes us to the edge of the Red Sea, where fear caused God’s people to panic and turn their frustration toward leadership. Moses did not argue with fearful words or defend himself. He understood their hearts and calmly pointed them back to God, reminding them that the Lord Himself would fight for them. This devotion speaks to moments in family, work, and Church life when fear rises and emotions spill out. Pastor Sumrall encourages leaders and believers alike to respond with humility, calm, and faith, directing anxious hearts back to God and trusting Him to bring deliverance according to His promise. ---- Discover fundamental truths and the power of Scripture with Pastor David E. • Daily Devotions: Promise Fulfilled - January 30, 2026
    Jan 30 2026
Exodus 12:40–42 (ESV) - “The time that the people of Israel lived in Egypt was 430 years. At the end of 430 years, on that very day, all the hosts of the Lord went out from the land of Egypt. It was a night of watching by the Lord, to bring them out from the land of Egypt; so this same night is a night of watching kept to the Lord by all the people of Israel throughout their generations.” In this episode of Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall looks at Exodus 12 and the moment when God fulfilled His promise to bring Israel out of Egypt. After 430 years, deliverance came on the exact day God declared. Scripture shows us that God not only keeps His promises, He also asks His people to remember when those promises are fulfilled and to pass those testimonies on from generation to generation. This devotion reminds us that while God works in our lives every day, there are moments so significant they should never be forgotten and families must intentionally remember the great works God has done. ---- Discover fundamental truths and the power of Scripture with Pastor David E.
