  • Nicola Reekie is a Cardiff based therapist, who, after finding her own son diagnosed with PDA, went on to raise awareness and support other parents in their journey to understanding more about the implications of PDA for their child and their family.

    I personally had never heard of Pathological Demand Avoidance so it was fascinating to hear from Nicola what her first hand experience was in identifying this and the challenges she faced as she advocated for her child when working to establish a diagnosis but also in gaining support for him.

    The work that Nicola has done to raise awareness and now support other families whilst running a business and a family has been a huge achievement.
