Q&A talk with debut Sri Lankan author Vajra Chandrasekera about his new book "The Saint Of Bright Doors" a South Asian take on the genre of fantasy. The book follows the story of Fetter a boy who is tasked with assassinating his father the head of the religious movement known as "The Perfect and Kind". Though a book that can be enjoyed by all readers, this one leaves a very familiar sting in the hearts of the readers who live in South Asia. From marginalization, to colonial impacts and reforging of histories in the eyes of the victor.
