  • Are the Colts failing Anthony Richardson? Stephen Holder & Luke Easterling Join!
    Sep 17 2024

(00:00-27:12) – Query & Company opens on a Tuesday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison by comparing the situation the Carolina Panthers are in with Bryce Young and the current situation the Indianapolis Colts are in with Anthony Richardson. Are the Colts failing AR like the Panthers are with Young?

(27:12-39:22) – Shane Steichen met with the media yesterday and addressed why Jonathan Taylor did not play at all in the fourth quarter in the loss to the Green Bay Packers. Jake and Eddie bring those comments to you and then bring back the Query & Company elixir to really share what Steichen was saying.

(39:22-45:29) – Hour number one with Jake and Eddie providing an update on where things sit with the MLB beer bet between the two of them and Jimmy Cook.

(45:29-1:10:18) – ESPN.com’s Stephen Holder joins Jake on Query & Company this afternoon to weigh in on why Jonathan Taylor did not step on the field at all in the fourth quarter, doesn’t put any of the struggles right now for Anthony Richardson on Anthony Richardson, assesses if Shane Steichen was outsmarting himself last week in Green Bay, and gets ridiculed by Jake for not calling him for assistance with his trip to Milwaukee upon arrival.

(1:10:18-1:22:13) – Following his conversation with Stephen Holder, Jake and Eddie spend some time discussing Alec Pierce. Everyone wanted to see something from him this season with Anthony Richardson being the perfect QB for his skillset. Jake wonders if there is a changing of the guard (temporarily) with whom Richardson feels most comfortable with.

(1:22:13-1:26:16) – Hour number two concludes with Jake taking a phone call from a listener who has a bold prediction about IU football in connection to Jake’s from last year.

(1:25:36-1:49:51) – Luke Easterling from Athlon Sports joins Jake Query to kick off the final hour of the show by giving his perspective on the situation that Caleb Williams is in right now with the Chicago Bears, does the same with Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers with him being benched yesterday, evaluates where things are at right now with the Colts and Anthony Richardson through two games, and still compares Richardson to Josh Allen when he was first getting acclimated with the NFL.

(1:49:51-2:03:02) – After discussing Anthony Richardson with Luke Easterling, they shift their focus to Jonathan Taylor. Jake states that Shane Steichen was overthinking it when it came to giving Trey Sermon “some reps” in the fourth quarter because they were going pass heavy.

(2:03:02-2:08:08) – Today’s show ends with the JCook Plays of the Day and with JMV joining Jake and Eddie in the studio ahead of his show!
