  • The story is about a man and his associates who headed to the west Coast during the gold rush of 1948. The initial dig showed that gold was present, but disappointment set in when nothing was found along the next 3 feet. I will let you guess what they did next. Another man after hearing what happened tried his luck and discovered gold 3 feet from where the first ones stopped drilling. Ouch!!! What can you learn from this story?
