After college, McDaniel was signed as a free agent to the NFL. Unfortunately, his professional career was plagued by injuries, limiting his opportunities to just three teams and preventing him from fully realizing his potential in the league.

After his football career, McDaniel found a new path in life through faith. He went into the Baptist ministry and became a reverend, feeling called to preach and share his experiences and wisdom.
