  • Re: Producer is a series celebrating the art of making radio. Putting some of the industry's finest production talent under the spotlight, each episode is a relaxed conversation with a former or current radio producer about their career and the industry as a whole.


    This episode celebrates a veritable radio institution: the BBC Radio 4 programme Desert Island Discs. Producer Sarah Taylor tells us about the making of a Desert Island Discs episode, from guest booking to exceptional editing. We find out about her career producing documentaries before she started working on the "jewel in the crown", and her advice for aspiring producers.


    Re: Producer is made by Mark Jeeves and Jenny Nelson who have worked in radio production for longer than they care to remember, yet still find themselves fascinated by it.
