  • EP 19: Taking care of yourself to better serve your clients with Laura Burns
    May 16 2024

Today’s episode is all about our client experience and how we need to take care of ourselves to better serve our clients, and on top of that, we are going to run through some business practices that you can implement today so that you show up to give 110% to your clients.

Laura and I have been in the wedding industry for a while now, and we are both full time photographers that know the highs and lows of working from home and owning a business, but something we both have always agreed on is client experience comes first. Perhaps the most important aspect of your business, and what keeps people coming back or recommending you, is the experience that they have with you. And that experience begins on your website and with the first words of communication you exchange via email. But we aren’t here today to talk necessarily about that client experience. We are here to talk about how you need to take care of YOU and what you can do today to better serve your clients so that they walk away from you with a 5 star review ready to be written, and nothing but praise about how you served them SO WELL.

  • EP 12: Real Elopement Story: A + C in Glacier National Park
    Jul 27 2023

Today's episode is the first of the “Real Elopement Story” series, where I bring on past couples of mine that have hired me to shoot their elopements in epic places. I wanted to start this series because there is really nothing like it in the podcast world. There is not a place you can go to actually hear a conversation about someone’s elopement- what they loved or hated, what they are glad they did, what they wished they would have done, and just hear about the magic eloping brings and how you can honor your love story through an intimate wedding day.

I wanted a way to allow my past couples to share their stories so that maybe someone planning an elopement, or someone who needs some encouragement or is on the fence can hear a real elopement story.

Today's episode features a September 2022 couple who eloped in Northwest Montana, and had a two day elopement in Whitefish and Glacier National Park. From the sweet details to the hiking stories, you don't want to miss what made their elopement special!
