  • Recovery from Disease
    Dec 17 2020
In this program, we outline the process of recovery from illness or disease using natural methods. These techniques and procedures were developed before antibiotics were known, but they worked then and they work now. Even though the recommendations require bed rest and fasting, they are still the surest way to recovery from many serious illnesses. Many people have died because they have continued to work, eat, and stay active even though they were ill with life threatening conditions. Modern pharmaceutical medicine does wonders for stabilizing medical crisis conditions and comforting the patient, but in the case of lingering illness, comfort can kill. Join us as we discuss how to not only recover, but drive the disease out of the body.

  • Spiritual Roots of Disease
    Nov 19 2020
Though it is obvious that accidents, poor decisions, and wear can cause sickness, there are deeper roots to chronic and what are called incurable diseases. These involve more than chemistry and physics. In order to deal with such diseases, spiritual causes must be sought and rooted out. Chronic inflammation and clinical depression may be caused by more than what meets the eye. Christian natural medicine has a perspective that is both ancient and up to date. We are fallen creatures, living in a world that is at war with God and with truth itself. Though the struggle is invisible, it is none the less real. Attitudes such as fear, anger, unforgiveness, worry, guilt, and shame have powerful effects on the body, even for generations. Join us as we discuss what the Bible has to say about our health and well being.

  • Flu and COVID-19
    Nov 12 2020
Last week we covered common cold remedies in light of the Eight Laws of Health. We also spent some time discussing COVID-19. The remedies for COVID-19 are similar to those for cold and flu, with the addition of blood thinners and antioxidants. This week we will continue developing the topic, but we will cover the flu as well as the application of the Eight Laws of Health to the treatment of COVID-19. There are reports that though the virus is spreading like the common cold, the mortality rates are dropping to near those seen for the seasonal flu. The disease is still dangerous for those with compromised circulation, including Diabetes, Hypertension, and high Cholesterol, but for those who are prepared, it is not the scary mystery disease that it was this past spring. Join us as we discuss natural treatments that are remarkably effective.

  • Move or Die! (The Exercise Your Body Needs)
    Oct 29 2020
Few topics that health enthusiasts obsess over are more loved and hated than exercise. It is the centerpiece for many diet programs, and is at the heart of any strength training program. Many programs are fads, but the underlying reality is that we must either move or die. The body requires a certain amount of activity to keep the cardiovascular and respiratory systems working properly. Muscles obviously need to be flexed, stretched, and rested. But the bones also are designed to bear weight. If they don't, they will de-calcify quickly. Without healthy blood, every other organ will begin to fail. Even former athletes will deteriorate and die of diseases typical of a sedentary lifestyle unless there is some form of regular physical activity. Join us as we discuss the most loved and hated aspect of health maintenance.
