  • We sat down with independent director Ilima Considine to talk about their new movie, Waiting for the Kick. It's a musical horror (a horror musical? we'll leave it to historians to decide) about an after hours club in Portland, based on the play Salome, based on the story of John the Baptist.


    This conversation touches on themes such as sexual assault, minors in dangerous situations, and self-harm; if these are intense triggers for you, listen at your desecration. It's worth it, when you are able.
