Red Thread Reflections with GBS Benefits

De: GBS Benefits featuring Elisa Garn
  • Resumen

  • Everyone has a story, and every story has an impact. The “red thread” gets its name from Greek legend Theseus and the Minotaur, a monster [bias, misinformation, assumptions, lack of empathy, etc.]. Theseus had to kill the Minotaur to save his city [career growth, business growth, etc]. But first, Theseus first had to navigate a maze — the Labyrinth [individual perspective and opinions] where the Minotaur lived. Yet no one, not even the Minotaur, had ever escaped it. But Theseus did. A woman named Ariadne [this podcast series] gave Theseus a red thread to trace his path to the monster. He then retraced his path on his way out [the value proposition to tune in].The series consists of individual seasons, made up of 6 episodes which have a non-obvious connection, or “red thread”, binding the stories together for one overall theme. The point is to glean insights from multiple views to increase empathy and compassion for how these topics are experienced from other perspectives.
