  • In January of 1971, the Perron family moved into a 14-room farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island, where Carolyn, Roger, and their five daughters began to notice strange things happening almost immediately after they moved in. Missing objects and strange noises soon escalated into evil spirits and a reported demonic possession. Two years later the family contacted Ed and Lorraine Warren, the famous paranormal investigators from Connecticut, to look into what they were experiencing. This was the basis for the movie “The Conjuring.” The family eventually moved out of the home and today, it is a destination paranormal hot spot.
