  • Jason Wilde on JMM
    Jul 16 2024
Jason Wilde makes his debut appearance on Jim, Matt & Molly! Jason immediately congratulates Molly as the best addition to the show possible and what she can bring to "Madison's favorite sports comedy show". Jim then shifts to the hard questions, asking Jason to react to the viral video clip of Jordan Love's apparent agents/PR people shutting down a question about the status of his contract negotiations while at his youth football camp Tuesday afternoon. Matt and Molly make the case as Packers fans that this could mean the two sides are close to a deal, while Jason agrees with Jim that Jordan Love (and his people) are creating a bigger story by shutting down his possible response.

  • 4PM: Twisters Pre-Warnings
    Jul 16 2024
Jim, Matt & Molly start the show with some laughs as Jim Rutledge continues to spits in the face of "big weather", calling BS on these tornado "pre-warnings" lately. Matt defends his Midwestern values saying that tornadoes are actually scarier than the hurricanes that Florida Jim experienced back in the day. They also talk about the new Twister movie coming out this weekend and ask the fans for their best in-theater movie-watching experiences. Jim also rails against Elon Musk for shutting down X/Twitter livestreams for non-premium users (like ESPN Madison), and he explains why cybertrucks stink. What Matt Missed features clips of a star CFB player throwing his offensive line under the bus in the new EA College Football game, Davante Adams' rising frustrations on the Netflix "Receiver" series, and Flavor Flav's latest Olympic collaboration...?!

  • 5PM: Shutting Down Contract Questions
    Jul 16 2024
Jim, Matt and Molly continue into Hour 2 with an immediate reaction to the viral Twitter clip of Jordan Love's apparent agents/PR people shutting down a question about the status of his contract negotiations while at his youth football camp Tuesday afternoon. Matt and Molly react live, asking if this might mean that the Packers and Love are actually close to an extension, while Jim makes the case that Jordan's non-answer was the worst response possible for Jordan Love and his agents/PR team. Throwing Stones features takes about the worst color shirts to wear, Jordan Love's "pathetic" non-answer to the hard questions, and an indictment of ALL Pro Bowl/All-Star games. • 4PM: New Fanbase, Who Dis?
    Jul 15 2024
Get ready to laugh and talk all things Wisconsin sports with Jim Rutledge, Matt Hamilton & Molly Brown on the official debut of their new three-person show! Jim and Matt fully welcome Molly into the fold from 4-6pm, and they immediately make Molly feel too young around "old man Hamilton" and "Pops" Rutledge. Jim asks what is the age that people fully set into their look clothing-wise. He then wastes no time getting people angry with his list of the NFL's top-5 fanbases that came out over the weekend -- which has the Bears at #1 while the Packers are off the list... Jim makes the case for why fanbases of successful teams haven't felt enough pain to be real diehards, Matt and Molly make the case for the Midwestern powerhouses that dominate other teams' stadiums, and Primetime asks when should suffering fans be allowed to root for other successful teams (like Chiefs fan Jim Rutledge). They wrap up Hour 1 with Molly unveiling her list of the NFL's top-5 fanbases before getting to Matt's list on the other side!

  • 5PM: Throwing Butker Under the Bus
    Jul 15 2024
Jim, Matt & Molly continue into Hour 2 of the new show, as they continue to discuss their top-5 rankings of NFL fanbases. They react to Molly's top-5, and Matt unveils his list (which if full of WINNERS). They also cross-check all of their lists to create a *slightly* collective list for the entire show. Primetime debuts the new-look version of Throwing Stones, allowing all three hosts to get off their "chillest" take of the day before crowning the days winner: Jim tells Harrison Butker to know his place at the ESPYS, Matt tells everyone to chill out about Jordan Love's extension THIS offseason, and Molly tells her husband to quit re-inventing their living room. The best fanbases conversation shifts to a check-in on which Wisconsin fanbase deserves better and which teams are TRULY trying to win. The new show wraps up with an indictment of the Brewers stumbling into the All-Star Break, and Primetime gives the three NFL fanbases that have been overlooked in everyone's top-5.

  • 4PM: Non-Jordan Love Packers Excitement
    Jul 12 2024
Molly Brown and Matt Hamilton hold down the final edition of Rutledge & Hamilton, as Jim Rutledge is out camping on another Friday. Molly starts the show by fessing up that Jim would be very disappointed in her for breaking a promise about eating in the car on Monday's show... Molly unveils some of the most embarrassing meals she's eaten while driving, and Matt grills her taste in fast food. Molly and Matt also get into the Packers that they're most excited for this season outside of Jordan Love, and they ask the fans for their picks between Josh Jacobs, Jaire Alexander, Xavier McKinney or other. The fans get in on the fast-food roast of Molly. Dave Kaplan of ESPN Chicago joins Molly and Matt live from his home on Lake Winnebago, as he fills in for absent Bears fan Jim Rutledge.
