Christian Toto, creator of the Hollywood in Toto website/podcast and co-host of 'The Right Side of Hollywood' on Fridays with Deborah Flora and Ryan, joins the program to chronicle his take on an all-time classic - Groundhog Day, along with reaction to political speeches at The Grammys on Sunday night, and Ryan watching Oscar-nominee for Best Picture 'Sinners.'

  • Erica Mallery, Mindful Drinking Coach; Nicki Minaj goes full MAGA with zero Fs
    Feb 2 2026
Somewhere between being a teetotaler and the dangers of alcoholism is 'mindful drinking,' responsible consumption of alcohol in moderation. Erica Mallery is a Mindful Drinking Coach and guides Ryan, along with listeners, through a plan toward ditching the shame, feeling amazing, and enjoying your wine while fully showing up in your life.

Jelly Roll toes the line politically when asked to comment about ICE deportations at the Grammys, humbling himself before the audience and reporters and defaulting to his story of redemption and faith in Christ. Nicki Minaj has thrown caution to the wind and was live-posting some real bangers on X during the tragically (not) hip awards ceremony last night, ripping self-important celebrities and their hypocritical stances on political issues.

  • Rep Carlos Barron (R-48), fresh off chili cook-off; Sen. Mark Baisley (R-4) on U.S. Senate race
    Feb 2 2026
Rep. Carlos Barron (R-48) crossed paths with Ryan in Greeley over the weekend at the Weld County GOP Chili Cook-off, placing a respectable third, and reveals his mom's secret ingredient to his recipe. In addition, Chris Rourke and Ryan ask him questions about the recent start of the current General Assembly session and concerns he has about legislation being proposed by Democrats in the majority.

Sen. Mark Baisley (R-4) joins live in-studio for the final two segments to detail why he chose to move from the governor's race over to the race for U.S. Senate against incumbent Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-CO). Hick is facing a primary challenge from his left flank in the form of 'Senadora' Julie Gonzalez, which may bode well for Senator Baisley's chances in a general election head-to-head when it comes to allocating fundraising dollars.

  • Groundhog Day and the film's cultural significance; Woke celebs opine on ICE at Grammys
    Feb 2 2026
'Groundhog Day' is a classic of American film and has become ubiquitous with experiencing the same day over and over again since it hit theaters in 1993. It's one of Ryan's all-time favorite movies and he details behind-the-scenes friction between director Harold Ramis and the film's star Bill Murray which ended up costing them their friendship until the death of Ramis in 2014. In spite of this, it is registered in the National Film Registry 'for its cultural, historical and aesthetic contributions' and preserved in the Library of Congress.

Of note as well, Punxsatawney Phil did see his shadow on Monday - indicating six more weeks of winter.

Ignoring an admonition and warning from Ricky Gervais in his classic opening monologue hosting the 2020 Golden Globe Awards, celebrities couldn't help themselves from opining on ICE at the Grammys on Sunday night. Ryan highlights how out of touch they continue to be with the American public, and they may be out of time in getting the average viewer to watch such award shows.

  • Arresting elected officials like Walz, Frey is a sticky wicket; Dems don't care about illegal alien workers
    Jan 30 2026
A 'talkbacker' asks Ryan why the Trump Department of Justice won't arrest Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) and Minneapolis mayor Jacob Frey (D) for fomenting an insurrection against ICE and the federal government. The explanation reveals a bit of a slippery slope in setting that precedent in this country.

Ryan details his 'OG' roots in Michigan with two grandparents, one on either of his mother's and father's side of the family, who worked at auto manufacturing plants in metro Detroit (maternal grandmother, Detroit Diesel for General Motors) and Lansing (paternal grandfather for Oldsmobile). In this vein, he describes why those working class, blue collar workers appreciate President Trump - and are appreciated BY him. Yet on an even darker note, the Democratic party which once claimed to care about them is all too willing to cast them aside in order to clear the way for illegal aliens to make cut wages in various industries and trades. Ryan calls it out for what it is.

Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero issued a one-minute video for faculty and staff on Thursday night, sympathizing with their convictions but advising them that the schools were the safest place for students every school day.

Priscilla also reminds listeners of her upcoming private school academy, opening later this fall for students K-3 and adding a grade each year thereafter.
