After all, of June’s celebrations, it can feel like there are not many things ‘happening’ in July, I mean, of course, there are tons of different celebrations going on across the world, but there’s nothing as unifying as, say the Solstice. But I think that’s part of June’s enduring grace for July: that it sets up the whole summer months with its rich and fragrant mysticism so that actually in July can it be enough that we just learn to then savour every bit of its juice and sweetness. So, that’s what I intend to guide you through in this Almanac.
