  • Did better then i expected. Thought it was gonna be a 19ish min race and a top 10 finish with how trainining has been and how bad speed has become. Plus it was rail trail and at night a rare 9pm start. I stayed back at start and planned run comfortably. I drafed most of race which probably saved me. I had nice draft when i was in 4th, tucked nicly in. But when buddy passed at the time 2,3 and me up a couple tenths before turn around i followed suit and hung with. Still was in 4th but going little harder then i was. Did drip one kid when the move was made. At mile 2, 2nd stepped off, so i was just me and a buddy we were neck and neck. I passed him round 2.3 ish. Held off till end.
