During the conversation, we hear about Attorney Spivey's commitment to education in her beloved hometown of Detroit, MI, and how she uses her position as an attorney to be what she describes as a "Social Engineer", leveraging resources and relationships to connect at-risk youth to programs fit for their passions.

    It is a truly, dynamic, refreshing, and motivating conversation that shows how we are all, regardless of class or race, connected through the education system and highlights why the work we do as an organization is so crucial for students of color - particularly boys.
