Welcome back to “SICK SCARED and STUPID”, the podcast dedicated to empowering people to excise the cancerous analysis paralysis that runs rampant in our modern world, reject victimhood, and embrace personal accountability in order to take control of their health, mindset, and ultimately, their lives. Hosted by Jake Thomas, a former Marine turned professional natural bodybuilder and renowned fitness & mindset coach hailing from Texas, the podcast mission is to bring the insights, strategies and stories needed to live a happy, healthy and wealthy life by avoiding the very things that make you SICK SCARED and... You guessed it! STUPID.

Dr Anthony Chaffee is an American medical doctor and neurosurgical registrar who, over a span of 20+ years, has researched the optimal nutrition for human performance and health. It is his assertion that most of the so-called chronic diseases we treat are caused by the food we eat, or don't eat, and can be improved, and in some cases even reversed, with dietary changes to a species specific diet.

Dr. Chaffee discusses the issue of plagiarism and the unauthorized use of his work in a book. He explains that the book takes transcripts from his discussions and lectures, puts them together, and falsely attributes them to him and other prominent figures in the carnivore health space. Dr. Chaffee expresses his frustration with Amazon's lack of response to his complaints and his efforts to involve lawyers to address the issue. He also mentions that he is in the process of writing his own book, which aims to argue that chronic diseases are not diseases per se, but rather toxicities and malnutrition caused by a species-inappropriate diet and a lack of species-specific nutrition. He believes that the main cause of these diseases is the consumption of too many plants and other foodstuffs that humans are not biologically adapted to, and not enough high-fat meat, which is the proper nutrition for our biological design. The conversation explores the impact of diet on health and the need to shift from a sick care system to a focus on curing diseases. It discusses the health benefits of a meat-based ketogenic diet and the negative effects of processed foods and plant-based diets. The conversation also challenges the notion that plants are inherently healthy and highlights the high rates of diabetes and heart disease in vegetarian populations. The importance of questioning established beliefs and conducting experiments to validate theories is emphasized. Dr. Anthony Chaffee discusses the importance of focusing on reality and rational thought rather than being driven by emotions. He emphasizes the need to use both the heart and the brain to make informed decisions. He also highlights the benefits of a carnivore diet in improving health and reversing diseases. Dr. Chaffee addresses the criticism and skepticism surrounding the carnivore diet, pointing to the positive results and testimonials from his patients. He also touches on the ethical considerations of eating animals and the impact of factory farming on animal welfare and the environment. Finally, he discusses the importance of maintaining individual freedom and fighting against totalitarian ideologies.
