  • Season 4, Episode 46: Interview with Felix Leech (The Fool / The Hanged Man) from “Tarot” (2024)
    Jul 27 2024

Movie Synopsis: When a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings, they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death.

Felix is such a badass and cool individual! This guy played the two creepiest Tarot characters in the movie. It’s no wonder why this talented stuntman was chosen; performing stunts in notable movies such as: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), The Batman (2022), Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker (2019), Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019), and Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens (2015) – just to name a few.

We discussed how he was chosen for these particular roles, and it seems that the casting director has chosen the right person for the jobs. I cannot imagine what rehearsing on set must have been like, pretty tough, I imagine.

However, I am thoroughly impressed with his story about that Jackie Chan plays an integral part of if his career, and no one on this planet can argue that Jackie Chan is awesome. Role models should always be mentioned in someone’s stories!

Hands down, I loved the movie! Stunt performers are under-appreciated, and they definitely deserve more respect than the world gives them. In my opinion, stunt performers are the backbone of the movie. So I am hoping that Felix wins an award for this role, he most definitely deserves one!

  • Season 4, Episode 45: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Sarah Nicklin (Charlotte Turner) from “The Black Mass” (2023)
    Jul 22 2024

Sarah Nicklin, the beloved of indie horror, has been working in horror for nearly two decades. Sarah’s career in film has expanded traction in recent years for her diverse involvement in horror movies, music videos, shorts, and series. She is also stunt performer and producer. She has worked with many horror legends, including Eileen Dietz, Lisa Wilcox, Doug Jones and Dee Wallace, just to name a few.

    __________________________________________________

Sarah is an amazing and talented actress; I say this because if anyone can act in a horror movie about a serial killer and emotionally connect with the victim vicariously, then nominate her for an Oscar!

Sarah’s experience working on set in regard to having a dark history just makes the audience want to know and watch more. To be on set and reenact the last moments (for some) of the deceased and those who survived. I could not imagine what was going through their minds as they were filming.

We mostly talked about her character and Ted Bundy. We also posed the theory (mainly a question) as to why serial killers do what they do. There are so many unanswered questions and variables for what makes them [serial killers] tick.

To anyone who has not seen this movie, I highly recommend either renting it on Amazon or going to your nearest store and purchase the DVD. Watching parts of the movie through the point of view of the killer along with the ominous build-ups is pure genius. This strategy is what makes a director earn awards and stand out among the rest.

Be sure to follow Sarah on Instagram for news and upcoming projects.

  • Season 4, Episode 44: Interview with Director George Baron & Award-Winning Actress Danielle Bisutti from “The Blue Rose” (2023)
    Jul 11 2024

I had the absolute pleasure of speaking to Director George Baron and the beautiful Danielle Bisutti about their roles in “The Blue Rose” and this being George’s directorial debut (and seeing how that he was able to strategize and complete this film), I am excited and looking forward to seeing it when it’s released on July 12th. Pre-order is now available for the movie on Apple Tv and on Amazon.

Both described their characters very well and in the most intriguing way, these two were phenomenal in this interview. This happens to be one of my favorite interviews, these two are so down to earth and easy to talk to.

David did admit that David Lynch is one of his biggest influences and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that – we all have our influences it’s just that I have hard time trying to figure out mine. Danielle on the other hand, has many influences and Madeline Kahn is one of them. It’s no wonder these two individuals are so very talented, and they deserve to be nominated for all of the awards in Hollywood.

Danielle has upcoming projects to look out for: “Hollywood Heist” with an all-star cast and “Wake Me” – so keep an eye out for those two. Make sure you go to the theater and watch the release of this movie, unless you are afraid to leave your home then you can order it on Apple TV and Amazon.
