    In this episode, our Year 10 students (Grace, Dylan and Anthony) talk with 2 special guests in front of a live audience. The conversation is moderated by our superstar science teacher, Ms Hampartzoumian.


    About our guests:

    Emeritus Professor Carolyn Geczy is an experienced immunologist and Member of the Order of Australia. She inspired us with tales about her years of experience working as a leading woman in Science.

    Sian Liddy is a shark biologist who has recently completed her PhD. Sian gave us an insight into the world of sharks and their microbiome.

    We’re back! The SSHS Science Podcast has returned and what an amazing way to kick things off for 2023.

    In this episode, four very keen year 8 students interview Dr Anne Mai-Prochnow - expert in all things microbial. Have you ever wondered if there is a way to manage bacteria without using harmful chemicals? Anne and the students talk about different types of microbes and discuss ways to kill bad bacteria using plasma technology.
