  • A sailboat is supposed to take you one from place to another as life takes you from one place to another. Going through two things that were so dark, you never thought it would end or you would make it out? Being abused at age thirteen, physically, mentally, and verbally, you never saw life the same. Then eight years later you were knocked unconscious, you had no pulse and were cold to the touch. Both of these events happened by two people you weren’t related to. In the second event, everyone thought you were dead. It took you thirty minutes to come back. You have nightmares and a hard time remembering stuff. You had a dent on your forehead, but you survived both of these events.
