  • The next day Kate phone rings. This is Martha at the Hospital. I am looking for Ian Lucas, is he there? Kate says, I don’t understand, he’s at the hospital. We were there yesterday morning. Martha begins, Are you Kate Locke, Ian’s mom. Yes?  I’m following up on why he has not arrived to the physical therapy ward for his treatments. I have you as his main contact on the medical records. Is this incorrect? Well…. Martha – per your people at your hospital, I am not allowed to see my son and I have no idea where he is. Mrs. Locke, am I missing something? Kate goes through the whole story with her and discusses the whole day yesterday with the nurses not allowing her into the hospital. Martha is pissed, she tells Kate she is going to find out what is going on and I will call you back.
