  • In our 1st episode for Season 4, we interviewed Ash Kelsch, who said EFF IT and decided to go back and heal the relationship she had with her mother once she became an empty nester herself. She had put everything aside from herself first, and realized that in order to be the mother her kids will continue to need, she need to go back and heal herself by facing the trauma and the rollercoaster of a relationship she had with her mother. It’s a tough thing to do because even as adults, it can be hard for us to look at our parents and not feel all the things that would come up for us when we were kids. But, in order to move past all that, we have to get to a place where we can look at our parents as the flawed humans they, and we all are, and know that they were doing the best they could. We really are the ones that know what it is we truly need, so it’s important to really sit down and EFFing figure out what that is so that you can move forward in your life in a happy and healthy way.
