  • For the second straight season, the Florida State softball year ended at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners -- this time in the Super Regionals. The 2-0 sweep was a mixed bag for the short-staffed Seminoles as they were quickly run-ruled in Game 1 but were able to keep Game 2 tight with some mixing and matching in the circle. On this week’s episode of the Seminole Softball Wrap podcast, Gwyn Rhodes and Brian Pellerin discuss each game, the challenges Florida State faced as well as the return of Makenna Reid from the stress fracture in her back that kept her out for more than a month. Plus, they look at the shape of the roster heading into the offseason, what they’re losing in this senior class and what they need to add to return to title contention in 2025.
