    ARTIST:

    GraveyWhore is a 5 piece Progressive Death Metal band hailing from the bowels of Staten Island, New York City & was formed in 2019 by drummer Alex Farag & guitarist Sead Cekic. In 2023, with it's first full lineup - featuring Louis Alzamora on bass, Nick Merlo on guitar & Ryan Sunagawa on vocals - the band finished writing for their album debut, "Death Conception", self-released on February 9th 2024.

    GraveyWhore is influenced by many different genres of Metal & incorporates many different styles in their writing. Their sound is best described as a combination of Euro style Melodic Death Metal/Black Metal fused with East Coast US style Death Metal/Brutal Death Metal. Taking inspiration from the likes of At the Gates, Dissection, Carcass & Dark Funeral, as well as US acts, Morbid Angel, Suffocation, Deicide, Death, Atheist, & Cannibal Corpse, etc.

    In Spring of 2024, with the departure of Ryan Sunagawa & in search of a new vocalist, Alex Valdez (Body & Blood, ex-Abyzouth) joined the band forgeing a new level of dimension & brutality to their sound.

    In just under 2 years of performing live, GraveyWhore have shared the stage with the likes of fellow NYC artists - Torturous Inception, Tombstoner, Necroptic Engorgement, Weeping, Enrage, Cranial Damage, Solemn Vision, Festergore, Final Siege & many others.

    With their latest lineup, GraveyWhore are working on their followup full length album. Entering a new era of brutality & creativity; branding their brutal yet melodic style of New York Death Metal to a new level of madness.
