  • On this weeks episode of the Pit Therapy podcast we are talking about the band Shai Hulud! These guys have had a lot of member turnover, but their one consistent has been Matt Fox. He is credited with coining the term "Metalcore" even though he now considers Shai Hulud more of a progressive/melodic hardcore. We talk about how Chad Gilbert from New Found Glory was their second vocalist and joined when he was only 14. You guys know we are suckers for melodic hardcore, so this was a fun band to go back through and really dig into their albums. Looking forward to catching these guys at Furnace Fest!
