  • Which Would Be Worse: To Live As A Monster, Or To Die As A Good Man? This week we are discussing Shutter Island and its ties to Memory Repression. Memory Repression is when the brain attempts to protect itself from trauma by storing traumatic memories in the unconscious mind. John has a B.A. in visual media arts, with experience in directing, sound editing and gaffing. Kate has a B.A. in psychology and criminal justice and a (soon to be) master of social work, working in a community mental health clinic as an individual outpatient therapist.
