De: Jimmy and Clara Hinton
  • Resumen

  • Those of us who have lost children and loved ones are grieving in silence. The average time off for bereavment is only three days. Life is expected to go on as if nothing happened. There is an expectation to move on and not bring up our dead child's name.

This podcast offers comfort for people who have lost children. We will break the silence and share our difficulties with living without our beloved children. But we don't just share difficulties, our stories are also bound up in hope!

  • Episode 14 | How Child Loss Puts a Strain on Your Job
    Jun 25 2024
Let's face it--most jobs offer a few days off at best when we lose a loved one. It's no different when we lose a child. Very few jobs offer any substantial time off for bereavement. The reality is that, if we don't show up we risk losing our job. Oftentimes we find ourselves unable to focus at work. Our job performance suffers because what we desperately need it time off to grieve.

In this episode we talk about the effects grief has on us in the workplace and what we can do to help ease those negative effects.

Exceptional Support

I watch Cara on her FB live every day and thought I would give the podcast a try as well. one of the best podcasts I have heard. the support is amazing, her personal journey makes it easy to relate and feel understood in my own grief. I love the mother/son approach, seeing the bond you have is heartwarming. would recommend this podcast to anyone navigating grief, but especially grief for the loss of a child.
