  • This story is about a middle-class boy who travels by train to attend his childhood crush Neelu’s wedding. He had loved Neelu since childhood but never confessed his feelings. On the train, he reminisces about their past meetings and resolves to tell her his feelings before she gets married.

    At the wedding, he dances with Neelu and realizes she might have feelings for him too. His sister hints that he should have confessed earlier, but it's too late as Neelu marries someone else. During her farewell, she smiles at him, acknowledging their unspoken love.

    After the wedding, they meet briefly during the pagphera ceremony. At a family dinner, Neelu’s engagement ring falls near his feet, symbolizing a lost opportunity. He returns it, not wanting to cause a scandal. As he leaves, her final smile remains a bittersweet memory of what could have been.
