    This week, in Delta, Ohio, a college student disappears while riding her bicycle, on a country road, near her own home. There are many suspects, but one has a barn full of bondage gear, zip ties & adult diapers, so he rises to the top of the list. Turns out, this wasn't the first time a young woman has been pulled off a bike, in the area. The proof of this man's strangeness & guilt are not hard to find, but will he get away with it... Again??


    Along the way, we find out that you can have a chicken festival that has nothing to do with chickens, that nobody needs a property full of adult diapers, and that you never know how many some people have killed!!

    This week, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, a double murder scene looks to have ties to the occult, when "Satan Loves You" is found, written in one of the victim's blood. But detectives quickly begin to think it's less like ritual killings & more like cold blooded executions. Is it satanic maniacs? The married boyfriend of one of the victims? The worm farming, gold chain wearing husband of the other? Maybe her boyfriend? A bicycle may hold all the answers!


    Along the way, we find out that country music performers can sometimes look like Gordon Ramsay, that loads of gaudy gold jewelry is an odd thing to wear to farm worms, and that just because something is written in blood, it doesn't make it true!!

    This week, in East Providence, Rhode Island, when one young mother disappears while shopping, it's a real problem. When another nearby woman is slaughtered in her own living room, it becomes a full out panic. When the murderer is figured out, it's not at all what anyone expected. There's a detailed confession, but that might not matter, because of how it was obtained. All we know is, if he wasn't caught, there would have been no end to the horrors that he could have inflicted!!


    Along the way, we find out that folk music can be quite varied, you have to really want to get rid of a body, to shove a corpse through 11 inches of ice, and that we could have very easily had another Ted Bundy on our hands!!

Not the same old murder cases

James researches and writes about the murder cases and Jimmy hears about the cases when we do so his reactions are real and express the shock and horror that the rest of us feel. James provides an overview of the town and sometimes the times since some of the murders are from the 1970s or 1980s. The best part of this podcast is these two cover cases that have not been done on every other true crime podcast and have only covered a handful of cases that I have heard on other podcasts. A side benefit of this podcast is James's books suggestions. I've listened to several of the books that he has suggested and I enjoyed all of them.

So glad I can finally review STM! Never did figure that out on Google podcasts. These guys are hilarious! The number of times I have cracked up and had to pull over while driving is just... innumerable. I die every time James says "it's just haw-rrible" in his NY accent. Jimmie is a sessy beast with a heart of gold. These guys make murder fun 😜

The BEST True Crime Podcast

My absolute favorite true crime podcast. James & Jimmie together are lightning in a bottle. James' deep research, and ability to find the unknown stories,, surpasses all other podcasts.
