She's gone from being a talent agency receptionist in the 70s to founding her own talent agency and helping to launch the careers of stars like Martin Sheen, Mark Wahlberg, Jada Pinkett, Mariska Hargitay and her own daughter, Holly Robinson Peete. She shares some fascinating stories and perspectives growing up in an all-black environment and eventually coming to be the only black person in the room among the Hollywood set.
