  • Light your fire
    Jul 18 2024

The phrase “having a burning desire” perfectly illustrates the consuming and intense nature of passion. It also hints at the origins of the word passion, from the Latin passio, meaning "suffering or enduring".

In his book Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill talks about having a “burning desire” as the starting point of all achievement. He writes “weak desire brings weak results, just as a small fire makes a small amount of heat”.

Plutarch said, “The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled.”

This week, let's explore what lights your fire and keeps it kindled.
