    The Forward was written by Bruce Maitland, Brianna’s Father, who also founded and is the president of the nonprofit Private Investigations for the Missing, which seeks to, at no cost, fill the need for private investigation by providing families with qualified, expert investigators to work on their loved one's case.     The Afterword was written by Lou Berry, a former Chief of Police and the Case Manager for PI for the Missing.
