    LaKisha Williams is a track and field coach at Porter Ridge High School in North Carolina. In college, she was a track athlete at Kent State where she met her future husband, Jason Williams. Together, they opened a bakery in 2012 and partnered with the LeBron James Foundation to create a "Just a Kid from Akron" cherry cola cupcake.

    She is currently coaching 250 track athletes at Porter Ridge and working with an additional 170 athletes at the Charlotte Heat Track Club.

    Today on the podcast, LaKisha Williams shares about her background as a Division I track athlete and her love for coaching. She also opens up about the sudden passing of her husband and how she relied on her faith in Jesus to navigate through grief.   • James Winchester - Kansas City Chiefs long snapper on winning titles, overcoming tragedy

    James Winchester is the long snapper with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was undrafted in 2013 after playing his college football at the University of Oklahoma. He was signed by the Chiefs in 2015 and has been their long snapper since. He has been a member of four Super Bowl teams and won three titles, including this past season.

    His 22 postseason games played with the Chiefs is tied for a club record with tight end Travis Kielce.

    Scott Nagy was named the head men’s basketball coach at Southern Illinois on March 28, 2024. He began his coaching career in the late 1980’s with Illinois before becoming a head coach in 1995 at South Dakota State. After 11 years, he moved to Wright State, where he coached from 2016-2024. As a division one head coach, Nagy has led his teams to five NCAA Tournament berths.

    Today on the podcast we talk to coach Nagy about his journey of faith and coaching. He discusses his upbringing in a Christian home, his struggles with performance-based faith, and the recent decision to move to Southern Illinois. He emphasizes the importance of prioritizing character, discipline, and accountability over winning and encourages young coaches to pursue a relationship with Jesus and focus on the players.
